The CBS Transformer Bogie has been designed to
manually move transformers over short distances
from one location to another by one operator.
The sturdy lightweight all steel construction frame
incorporates a detachable lifting bracket that can
be fitted to any one of four positions to best suit
the transformer being moved. Wide pneumatic
wheels with ball bearing hubs are fitted to aid
travelling especially when on soft terrain.
The operator selects the best position for the
lifting bracket, and then manoeuvres the
transformer bogie into position to locate the lifting
hook into the lifting bracket on the transformer, by
pulling back on the handle the transformer is lifted
clear of the ground, it can be moved to the new
location.

This lightweight Aluminium Crossarm Lifter is ideal
for raising even the largest crossarms to ESI 4340
to the top of any pole.
The lifter, which has a safe weight lift of 100kg,
rests on the pole top and is strapped in position
with a liberally rated chain plus toggle screw.
The Sheave is securely caged to prevent the lifting
rope escaping while in action.

This machine has been designed to measure lengths
of overhead cables. The unit is hung on the cable
and a vertically movable pulley is used to clamp the
measuring wheel to the cable.
A shackle is provided to enable the machine to be
pulled along. A mechanical counter then displays
the length/distance that the machine has moved.
Its primary use is for positioning of spacers on
overhead power lines. Can accommodate cable sizes
between 8 – 43mm diameters.

The work-positioning belt is intended for the use of
linesmen and other workers required working at
heights on poles or other structures in a supported
position thereby enabling them to have both hands
free for working. (They are not intended for fall
arrest) A D-415-F may also be integrated with a
full body harness, giving full fall arrest protection
combined with a work positioning facility.
The D-415-F is manufactured from strong durable
polyester webbing and is fitted with a wide back
support. A fully adjustable body belt and pole strap
makes it easy for the wearer to obtain a
comfortable fit and at the same time to able to
achieve the correct working position required.
